Fight Night Preview 12th November 2017

fight night, preview

Ok fight fans it’s that time of the week again fight night preview time. This week we are back in the city so nice they named it twice New York. All the action is live on Sky Sports Main Event from 3am Sunday morning.

Daniel Jacobs V Luis Arias

Daniel Jacobs comes into this fight with a record of 32-2 with 29 knockouts. He’s won 5 out of his last 6 fights all of them by knockout. In his last fight he put in a great performance against Genndy Glovkin only to lose by unanimous decision, but many people thought he won that fight and I would love to see a rematch at some point.

Luis Arise comes into this fight with an undefeated record of 18-0 with 9 knockouts. He’s won all of his last 6 fights, 3 of them by knockout. In his last fight he beat Arif Magomedov with a 5th round knockout.

This fight could be a lot closer than a lot of people think, I think Jacobs will start fast and go looking for the knockout early to prove to himself and to the world that the loss to Golvkin is behind him. However if Arise can use his boxing skill he may be able to win it on points. You have to ask the question can Jacobs career take back to back defeats.

Jarrell Miller V Mariusz Wach

Jarrell Miller comes into this fight with a undefeated record of 19-0-1 with 17 knockouts. He’s won all of his last 6 fights all of them by knockout. In his last fight he beat Gerald Washington with an 8th round stoppage.

Mariusz Wach comes into this fight with a record of 33-2 with 17 knockouts. He’s won 5 out of his last 6 fights,4 of them by knockout. In his last fight he beat Erkan Teper by unanimous decision.

This fight could be another difficult one to call because Miller is the unbeaten fighter with knockout power, and Wach is the better boxer they’ve both been fighting at a very high level. This fight could be a case of if Miller can land clean he will win the fight via knockout, however if Wach can use his boxing skills and experience he will win the fight on points.

Also on the bill: Conor Benn will be making his US debut but at the time of writing this preview his opponent had not been confirmed.

Enjoy the fights and Comment below and let me know your predictions.
